2 Corinthians 13:14 – King James Version (KJV)
14 The Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
Our Christian journey is having a continuous and close relationship with the LORD our GOD. When we became born again, we were translated into the kingdom of GOD. To be truly born again is to change our inner self—our old way of thinking, regret our past sins, live our lives in a way that proves repentance; and seek God’s purpose for our life. Some people including Christians at the beginning of every year make resolutions or set objectives they intend to achieve for that year. These resolutions or objectives could be a healthy lifestyle, walking in divine health & prosperity, being debt-free, financial independence, better relationships, better jobs, or careers and so on. However, calendars are just a physical means to measure milestones and our achievements. For born-again Christians, we live in seasons determined by GOD.
Our main resolution in this new man-made calendar should be to walk with GOD blamelessly, seeking first HIS kingdom and righteousness. For in doing this shall all of our dreams come to pass, and our needs and wants we will receive even beyond our asking or imagination (Ephesians 3:20). Let our main resolution in this new calendar be to fellowship closely with GOD more than we have ever done. Let our focus be to seek first GOD’s purpose for our lives. This is the true hallmark of a spiritually mature Christian. This can only be done through constant and continued fellowship with the HOLY SPIRIT. For without the HOLY SPIRIT, a believer cannot achieve anything (John 15:5). GOD is more interested in blessing you beyond your asking or imagination. However, HIS principles are the same from everlasting to everlasting, and HE put HIS HOLY SPIRIT in us as a guarantee of this glorious promise (2 Corinthians 1:22).
GOD has already blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:3). However, for there to be a physical manifestation of these blessings in the life of a Christian requires physical obedience. Physical obedience is the product of hearkening diligently to the voice of the HOLY SPIRIT and submitting fully to the ministry of the HOLY SPIRIT in our lives. Romans 8:14 says “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God (NKJV).” Let our new year resolution be to have a closer fellowship with our Heavenly FATHER through HIS SPIRIT: The HOLY GHOST. For our heavenly FATHER seeks the true worshippers: those that shall worship HIM in Spirit and truth (fellowship with the HOLY SPIRIT & HIS Word found in the scriptures).
The world events today clearly show the satanic agenda is very active as described in the bible in the latter days and are clear signs that the second coming of our LORD Jesus Christ is very close. We have come into a season where the LORD is raising a new breed of believers filled with the anointing and power of the HOLY SPIRIT that shall go about doing good and healing those oppressed by satan. An outpouring of GOD’s power on those who greatly emphasise THE GREAT COMMISSION. We have come into a season where there shall be an outpour of the power, the HOLY SPIRIT on those that have continued and have constant fellowship with HIM for the great commission. For in our fellowship with the HOLY SPIRIT, we are led by HIM. When we are led by the HOLY SPIRIT, we seek first the kingdom of GOD and HIS righteousness, we are planted in the presence of our GOD, then the anointing of the oil of Joy rests on us and we are LIFTED above our companions – a manifestation of blessings beyond our asking or imagination.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for the efficacy of your WORD and the anointing of your SPIRIT at work in me. I receive the Grace to commune with the HOLYSPIRIT and accomplish every task you have assigned for me this season that shall cause me to be a shining light always. In JESUS NAME.
Confession
I commune with my FATHER always for Greater is HIS SPIRIT in me!
