HE Cares
1 Peter 5:7
New King James Version (NKJV)
7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
As a Christian understand you live by a different set of principles and remember our FATHER cares for us more than we can imagine. All GOD wants from you is not to worry but cast your cares to HIM. One could spend the whole day at home and not be engaged in any physical or strenuous activity. However, by dawn, they are so exhausted and tired because the whole day was spent in worries. Even a good night’s rest is not possible because their mind is filled with the cares of life. People worry a lot about how they will cope with their finances, health, career, security, material needs for themselves, their children and even generations to come. The deteriorating state of the world economy and security further puts a lot of pressure on people. The LORD JESUS CHRIST in Mathew 6:34 says, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
Understand that there will always be one challenge or the other. However, in these challenges, God shows HIMSELF strong in our lives for HE cares for us. All our FATHER wants from us is to trust HIM with all our heart, mind and with all our might. By putting your trust in the LORD, you take out the worry, and your mind is then kept in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3). As a Christian, when faced with a worrying situation, give that worrying situation to the Lord. And just as the theme scripture puts it, “give all your worries and cares to GOD, ….” This means to actually make that confession and declaration as one who is born of GOD and has overcome the negativity of this world. For example, “LORD, this mortgage or rent payment that is due, I refuse to worry about it, and I give it to you, for I know you care about me”. A Christians spoken word is very important. YOUR WORDS ARE THE BRIDGE BETWEEN THE REALM OF THE SPIRIT & THE PHYSICAL.
Refuse to think about these cares of life and abide in the LORD. John 15:5 – I am the vine, and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing. We are the branches, and as long as we stay connected to Christ, the vine – we will always be at peace and overcome every challenge. For the LORD our GOD cares for us, and everything is working out for our good as long as we stay connected to HIM. Think of the past challenges in your life and how GOD sorted it out, even in ways you never thought possible. That is why HE is called JEHOVAH EL GIBOR – the extraordinary strategist. So, sing praises and testify of GOD’s steadfast love, goodness and mercy that never comes to an end.
Scripture meditation:
Matthew 6:25-34, Jeremiah 17:7-8; & Philippians 4:6-8.
Prayer:
Loving and Gracious FATHER, you are my rock and the light of my salvation. Your thoughts of me are good, and to give me an expected end. I rejoice knowing that you love me even before I loved you. And you have perfected all that concerns me. Glory and honour are yours forever and ever in JESUS NAME. Amen!
Confession:
I refuse to worry, for the presence of the LORD has gone ahead of me to give me REST!

Humble Yourself
1 Peter 5:6
New King James Version (NKJV)
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of GOD, that HE may exalt you in due time:
Humility is a Christian character or virtue where we trust not in our own understanding or wisdom, but rather, we trust fully and acknowledge the wisdom of GOD. It is a mindset where a Christian understands his sufficiency is of the LORD (2 Corinthians 3:5). A humble Christian puts the kingdom of GOD, and the righteousness of GOD before anything else. Humility is acknowledging the power of GOD at work through you and not the power from you. Humility involves absolute reverence for GOD and the things of GOD. We should not have the misconception of free will and choice. GOD will never force you but admonish you to choose HIS path (Deuteronomy 30:19). We do not choose the rules of GOD to obey. Humility is obedience to the statutes of the LORD in totality.
CHRIST admonishes us to be submissive like children to his teachings and to be submissive in love and the fear of GOD. The power of GOD is activated in a Christian when they are submissive to the authority of GOD. When we become Spirit -filled Christians, our lives are no longer ours. We live for CHRIST. “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; …….” Galatians 2:20.
GOD desires your progress in life even more than you could imagine. To humble oneself under HIS mighty hand is to put one’s absolute trust in HIM, knowing in time HE will lift you to a place of glory where you will never fall nor fail. He has your progress and every milestone of your life all mapped out. Humility seeks the interests of others, a key principle of love. Humility does not think highly of oneself. People have missed their blessings and favour with man & GOD because of arrogance. Being humble does not mean you are weak. It only means you are walking in righteousness.
Proverbs 18:12 tells us, “Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, and before honour is humility.” As Christians, we do not trust in our possessions or wealth, experience, knowledge, social status, career, or any form of resources. Our hope and trust are in the LORD: OUR SOURCE. The scriptures teach of King Asa, who no longer put HIS trust in the LORD but relied on his wealth, armies and alliances, which led to his destruction. Let us learn to submit to leadership both in and outside the household of faith. For these leaders will give account for our souls. GOD will exalt you in time, be patient and be humble. The bible in James 4:6 says, “God opposes the proud but shows Favor to the humble.” If you submit to the authority of GOD by obeying HIS precepts, you will be amazed at how grace and peace will be multiplied in your life. For the LORD will cause situations to align in your favour.
Scripture meditation:
Proverbs 3:3-5; Philippians 2:3; Mathew 20:26, Proverbs 29:23; & Proverbs 22:4.
Prayer:
Glorious FATHER, I submit to the ministry of your Word and your SPIRIT. I receive the grace to always be humble, adhering to your statutes and principles. Let the power of your Spirit of reverence be manifested in my life always, that elevates me always. In JESUS’ NAME.
Confession:
The LORD exalts me for HIS SPIRIT in me makes me humble!

Except Through Me!
John 14:6
New King James Version (NKJV)
6Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
The Easter celebration is of significant importance and is celebrated all over the world. But the big question is how many people worldwide understand its true meaning and importance. Why did CHRIST JESUS die and rise on the third day? As we get into the euphoria of the Easter holidays, let us make time to reflect on the true meaning of Easter. Most importantly, tell others of the love of GOD in CHRIST. For GOD so love the world that HE sent HIS only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Christ Jesus shall not perish but have everlasting life.
The birth of CHRIST was the promise right from the fall of Adam in the garden (Genesis 3:15). GOD made the world perfect, and HE willed all of it to Adam, and GOD blessed him, to multiply and replenish the earth. Adam lost it because of disobedience, and sin entered the world. The redemption, which is the sacrifice of CHRIST JESUS on the cross, blotted out every charge against mankind and reconciled us back to GOD (Colossians 2:11-15). We are now free from sin if we believe in our heart that Christ redeemed us and we confess it with our mouth (Romans 10:9-10). The restoration, which is the resurrection of CHRIST JESUS, restored man to a place of glory, a much better position than he was before the fall in the garden. HIS ascension also made us kings and priests unto the LORD and gave us power and authority to be all that GOD has designed us to be and triumph over satan and HIS cohorts of darkness. A perfect man with the stature of the fullness of CHRIST (Ephesians 4:13); a child of GOD (John 1:12 – not an image or likeness), a joint-heir with CHRIST seated at the right hand of the FATHER. A place of glory, a man who walks in the spirit, with the gift of the HOLYGHOST as a guarantee of GOD’s promise, with eternity set in his heart. This is a life of triumph, bliss, success, fulfilling his divine destiny, making an impact in the kingdom of GOD. Do not miss out on this glorious inheritance; make CHRIST the LORD of your life.
As we commemorate the resurrection of Christ, let us reflect on its true meaning: the gift of salvation. The big questions: Are you walking in the fullness of GOD’s glory? What happens after the Easter celebration? Are you living a glorious life? True repentance is believing in CHRIST JESUS and making HIM Lord over your life. Fervently seeking GOD’s will and purpose for your life. That is why HE is the way. Are you practising righteousness? By believing in HIS WORD: the truth and practising it through obedience to the word of GOD – The truth.
Let us therefore take the ministry of reconciliation very seriously, for we must be prepared for the second coming of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Let us continue fervently and with all urgency the spread of the gospel, for it is the power of GOD unto salvation. This festive season is a time to celebrate and reflect on our purpose here on earth and our God-given destiny. The birth of CHRIST: GOD’s promise; HIS death on the cross: our Redemption; HIS resurrection: our Restoration; and HIS ascension our Glorification. Hallelujah! Blessed be GOD that has translated us to a place of power, authority & glory, reigning as kings and priests unto HIM. GLORY TO GOD!
Scripture meditation:
Isaiah 9:6-7; Isaiah 53:4-5; John 10:10, Ephesians 2, & Revelations 5:6-10.
Prayer:
Glorious FATHER, thank You for restoring me to a place of glory in CHRIST JESUS who died for me. I am born again, and I shall fulfil your will and purpose for my life, making an impact in this generation and beyond. By Your Grace, I walk in the path You have predestined for me even before the foundations of this earth, to the Glory of Your Name. In JESUS NAME.
Confession:
Through Jesus Christ, I have been made a king and a priest unto the LORD; I reign on this earth. Hallelujah!

You Ought To Pray!
Luke 18:1
New International Version (NIV)
1Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.
If only Christians new the tremendous authority and power of GOD that can work in them when they pray, they would pray without ceasing. There are no powerful prayers but powerful Christians that pray. The power that works in us is not of our own making but the POWER of GOD in us. For we are no longer ordinary we now belong to CHRIST. The scriptures in 1 John 4:4 says” You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” One of the hallmarks of a Spirit-filled Christian is their devotion to prayer. The scriptures in Jude 1:20-21 (AMP) says” But you, beloved, build yourselves up on [the foundation of] your most holy faith [continually progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], pray in the Holy Spirit”.
The bible teaches us the importance of words. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. Prayers serve various purposes. However, all kinds of prayer involve speaking or declaration of words. WORDS ARE THE BRIDGE BETWEEN THE REALM OF THE PHYSICAL AND THE SPIRIT. The challenges we face as Christians are not physical, they are spiritual. In the same vein blessings are spiritual and our actions in the physical brings their manifestation in the physical realm (Ephesians 1:3). Matthew 12:37. Words chart the course of one’s life. As Christians we obtain the full package of salvation through our words. When we believe the promises of our FATHER and in prayer make declarations of those promises we bring the manifestation of those spiritual blessings into physical manifestation. Romans 10:9-10 – For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Praying in the Spirit not only strengthens us but transforms us into the GOD-kind that we are meant to be (John 10:34, 1 John 5:4) – the expression of the Glory & power of GOD here on earth. We really do not know how to pray as we ought to, but it is the ministry of the HOLY SPIRIT to ensure we pray correctly. This is made possible when we pray in the spirit especially praying in tongues. The scriptures in Romans 8:26 tells us “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words.” Some Christians are under the misconception that praying is designed as means to deal with a challenge or get GOD to do their bidding.
Dealing with a challenge involves exercising our power and authority through the spoken word of GOD (Rhema). The scriptures tell us Christ Jesus often withdrew Himself to quiet places to pray (Luke 5:16) in the early hours of the day. When it came to dealing with a challenge, HE spoke WORDS that convey power and authority. Behold that same power and authority have been given to us. The power and authority of GOD in us is only effective when we constantly fellowship with the WORD and the HOLY SPIRIT. Secondly, the practice of righteousness makes the power of GOD in us activated. Proverbs 28:9 – One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination. Employing different principles of prayers will ensure you are always victorious, and you prosper in life. One of the most important praying principles is the praying in the early hours of the day where you take authority over your day and shake the wicked out of it (Mark 1:35, Job 38:12).
Praying in the Spirit strengthens the will of a Christian and it makes you to operate in the spirit of wisdom. We have assignments from the LORD at different seasons and stages of our lives that could be careers, businesses, ministry …… Praying in the Spirit ensures our successful accomplishment of GOD’s purpose even amid challenging situations. Praying in the spirit ensures we are not overwhelmed by the challenges we face. Praying in the Spirit ensures we are never confused and always receive divine direction and order to achieve GOD’s purpose for our lives. Let us continue to pray in the Spirit without ceasing and we shall always experience great victories in every area of our lives.
Scripture meditation:
Jude 1:20, Romans 8:26, Luke 18:1, & John 14:20-26.
Prayer:
Glorious FATHER, thank You for the gift of Your Word and Your HOLY SPIRIT that makes me to always pray in the Spirit. FATHER cause the anointing of Your SPIRIT and power to work mightily in me, and I receive Your Grace to pray always without ceasing. In JESUS NAME.
Confession:
I pray in the Spirit always and I am continually built up like an edifice from glory to glory!
