Colossians 1:13-14 – New King James Version (NKJV)
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
The day you believed in the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus and made the confession with the word of your mouth, you were born again. A new creation. Just as the main verse puts it, you were translated by GOD into the Kingdom of light (the kingdom of CHRIST JESUS). This means you were delivered completely from every form of darkness, be it failure, poverty, infirmities, or any sort of satanic oppression.
Before you were born again, you had a way of thinking, a set of ideas and a philosophy about life and the way it should be. Your environment, experience, culture, and family upbringing have shaped the course of your life. Being a new creation, GOD has ushered you into a new life and put HIS Spirit in you as a guarantee of a glorious life filled with goodness. A life of the spirit where your spirit man controls the mind and the body, and not vice versa. This new life has a manual for success, and that is HIS WORD. John 15:3 “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you….” The WORD of GOD cleanses you from unrighteousness, every darkness, and makes you a shining light. The reason why some Christians still go from deliverance to deliverance is that they are not deeply rooted in Christ. One thing is to receive Christ, another thing is to be in Christ (to dwell in the word of GOD).
Importantly, we are not only redeemed but we now belong to Christ Jesus as such heirs according to the promise. It only gets better: our Heavenly FATHER raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 2:1-7). A place of power and authority where we have been given the power and authority to be the expression of our Heavenly FATHER proclaiming HIS excellencies here on earth. HIS DIVINE NATURE NOW AT WORK IN US. We now have the power and authority to chart our lives according to HIS perfect will. Deliverance is for the unbeliever: those in darkness. And not a Christian that is in the kingdom of light. As described in the scriptures Ephesians 1 & 2: GOD made us Christians to sit together with CHRIST JESUS in the heavenly places far above every principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. A Christian can only be oppressed by forces of darkness when they are ignorant of the word of GOD. Secondly, when they do not put the word of GOD to work in their lives through love and faith. And they engage in unrighteous practice.
Now that you have CHRIST in you, put away every idea and philosophy you have previously known. Put on the new man in CHRIST so as not to lose the blessings which are your inheritance (Colossians 2:8-9). A life where our nourishment comes from being deeply rooted in the word of GOD. Not just to agree with the word of GOD but to practice the word. This ensures a life of continuous victory, a life of success. Christ said it is finished; now it is up to us to be that light and operate from a realm of victory. This begins with not only being hearers alone of the word but doers, a life that involves the practice of righteousness.

Prayer
Glorious FATHER, thank you for translating me into the kingdom of your son, JESUS CHRIST. I am born again and deeply rooted in CHRIST. I receive the inheritance and the glorious power of your WORD and SPIRIT to function effectively as your child. In Jesus’ NAME.
Confession
I dwell in CHRIST. I cannot be defeated, for Greater is HE that lives in me.
