Ephesians 3:20 – New King James Version (NKJV)
20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
The bible tells us that, as GOD’S creation we are made up of three parts: the spirit, soul, and body. And we can be categorised as being made up of the inner man and the outer man. The outer man which is our physical body houses the inner man which is our spirit and soul that is the part that cannot be seen with the physical eyes. Just as the physical body has eyes, the spirit and the soul has eyes. The LORD communicates with us through our spirit and he opens the eyes of our spirit to see like HE sees. This is our creative power, the imaginative power of the eyes of our spirit and soul.
The NIV version of the theme scripture puts it as “Now to HIM who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to HIS power that is at work within us,”. When we receive from the LORD it is through our spirit. The LORD opens the eyes of our spirit to see what he has given to us. Just like the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:28-29: she kept thinking and imagining her healing and she was healed. We have received the HOLY SPIRIT as a guarantee of GOD’s promise (2 Corinthians 1:22). So let your assumptions, thoughts, and imaginations be in line with GOD’s word and the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT. Just as the scripture tells us, our success and prosperity lies with the Word of GOD in our lips and it’s meditations in our hearts. This causes our creative power (meditations and in turn imaginations) to be in line with GOD’s will and purpose: GOD’S promises for us.
Through prayer and meditation on the word of GOD, the SPIRIT of the LORD opens our spirit eyes to show us things to come. The eyes of our soul gives us the ability to imagine situations, and through that, create our world. That is why nothing shall be impossible to them that believe in the LORD and in the power of HIS might. Abraham when he received the promise of a son received it in his spirit and GOD boosted his faith by creating a picture of his posterity when he counted the stars. The bible in Genesis 11: 6 tells us “And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do”. As a Christian be fervent in spirit desiring the fullness of GOD, the manifestation of the seven Spirit of GOD (Ephesians 3:14-19). This you achieve through continued and fervent study, prayer and fellowship with the HOLY SPIRIT. This will increase the ability and the power of GOD at work in you. And in turn increase the ability of your creative power.
What is your heart’s desire today? What has the LORD promised you? Be it prosperity, divine health, success, career progression, business growth, academic excellence, successful relationship and so on. There is a power at work in you: begin to see the manifestation of your heart’s desire with the eyes of your soul. Let the power of your imagination begin to create the right situation. Seeing with the eyes of your spirit and speaking (prophesying) your faith in line with the Word of GOD, will definitely bring these desires to pass. And you will continually live a life of triumph.
