REVELATIONS FOR TODAY by Pastor Michael Obata
1 John 5:11-12 – New King James Version (NKJV)
11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.,
The Christmas celebration is of great importance and celebrated all over the world. But the big question is how many people all over the world understand its true meaning and importance. Why was CHRIST JESUS born? As we get into the euphoria of the Christmas holidays, the gifts, celebrations, let us make out time to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. And most importantly tell others of the love of GOD in CHRIST. For GOD so love the world that HE sent HIS only begotten son, that whosoever believe in CHRIST JESUS Shall not perish but have everlasting life.
The birth of CHRIST was the promise right from the fall of Adam in the garden (Genesis 3:15). GOD made the world perfect, and HE willed all of it to Adam and GOD blessed him, and to multiply and replenish the earth. Adam lost it due to disobedience and sin came into the world. The redemption which is the sacrifice of CHRIST JESUS on the cross blotted out every charge against mankind and reconciled us back to GOD (Colossians 2:11-15). We are now free from sin if we believe in our heart CHRIST redeemed us and we confess it with our mouth (Romans 10:9-10). The restoration, which is the resurrection of CHRIST JESUS, restored man to a place of glory, a much better position than he was before the fall in the garden. A perfect man with the stature of the fullness of CHRIST (Ephesians 4:13); a child of GOD (John1:12 – not an image or likeness), a joint-heir with CHRIST seated at the right hand of the FATHER. A place of glory, a man who walks in the spirit, with the gift of the HOLYGHOST a guarantee of GOD’s promise, with eternity set in his heart. This is a life of triumph, bliss, success, fulfilling his divine destiny, making impact in the kingdom of GOD. Do not miss out on this glorious inheritance, make CHRIST the LORD of your life.
As we commemorate the birth of CHRIST let us reflect on its true meaning: the gift of salvation. The big questions: are you walking in the fullness of GOD’s glory? What happens after the Christmas holidays? Are you living a glorious life? True repentance is believing in CHRIST JESUS and making HIM Lord over your life. Fervently seeking GOD’s will and purpose for your life. That is why HE is the way. Are you practicing righteousness? By believing in HIS WORD: the truth and practicing it through obedience to the word of GOD. The truth. Lastly, are you reigning on this earth as a king & priest to the LORD. Where you become the word: operating in the messianic anointing (as CHRIST JESUS is so are you in this world – 1 John 4:17). This is the life: powerful Christians living a life of abundance and glory.
Let us therefore take the ministry of reconciliation very seriously for these are the last days. Let us continue fervently and with all urgency the spread of the gospel for it is the power of GOD unto salvation. Today is a time to celebrate and reflect on our ministry as sons of GOD and our GOD given destiny. The birth of CHRIST: GOD’s promise; HIS death on the cross: our Redemption; and HIS resurrection: our Restoration. Hallelujah! Blessed be GOD that has translated us to a place of power, authority & glory reigning as kings and priest unto HIM. GLORY TO GOD!!!
