Psalms 25:14 – New King James Version (NKJV)
14 The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.
Fear used in these translations in the bible does not mean the negative emotion. Fear in this context means to have reverence for GOD. To fear or reverence GOD in this respect is to have a profound awe and respect with love for the LORD our GOD. In addition, complete obedience to HIS instructions, principles and leading of HIS SPIRIT. The LORD created us for HIS Glory and HE desires to express HIS Glory through us. GOD’s desire is to bless you and in CHRIST JESUS HE has blessed you. The manifestation of GOD’S blessings in the physical is our responsibility as Christians. Reverential fear for GOD unlocks the spiritual blessings into the physical realm. To reverence GOD is to have habitual fellowship with GOD. A perfect relationship where we are obedient to HIS Instruction, Principle, Order and Direction- I.P.O.D. through the HOLY SPIRIT in us and with us.
When you have deep love and respect for someone you strive to please them. GOD created us to worship HIM in spirit and in truth. In other words, whatever you do, let it be for the glory of the LORD. Reverence for GOD causes you to act in faith and faithfulness. Abraham feared GOD; walked in faith and had absolute trust and confidence in GOD. And God willed the world to him (Romans 4:13). The scriptures in Genesis 24:1 says, “Now Abraham was old, well advanced in age; and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things.” If indeed you love GOD, you will keep HIS commandments. By remaining faithful, hidden things will be revealed for your benefit and to glorify God. 1 Corinthians 2:9 & 10 says “But as it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which GOD has prepared for those who love HIM. 10 But GOD has revealed them to us through His SPIRIT…”
GOD’s SPIRIT and WORD through the scripture reveals the secrets of success and a good life on earth. Therein lies every spiritual wisdom, knowledge and understanding that makes us bear fruits worthy of HIS kingdom. When you fellowship with the HOLY SPIRIT and meditate on the scriptures, opportunities for success are revealed to your spirit man. These blessings and opportunities, are there for us to experience a life of success and bliss. Unfaithfulness and lack of reverential fear of GOD, causes them to miss the revelation of such opportunities. They lack wisdom and make bad decisions. CHRIST JESUS in Matthew 5:5 says, “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.” It is a promise and a principle of GOD that causes a Christian to receive their inheritance. The meek is gentle and submissive to the will and instructions of GOD.
The living Bible version of the theme scriptures puts it as “friendship with GOD is reserved for those who reverence HIM. With them alone HE shares the secrets of HIS promises.” GOD gives Grace to the humble: the one that fears HIM. The meek has the testimony of great accomplishments and exploits. People wonder how they do it: it is because they reverence the LORD and put HIS agenda before their own. And they become spiritually mature to the point that they have no agenda of their own. They actively seek GOD, the things of GOD, and pursue righteousness. They are like a shining light, and they shine brighter every day because they prosper in all that they do. For the LORD multiplies the Grace of the Christian that reverence HIM exceedingly because HIS power is at work mightily in them. Glory to GOD!

Prayer
Glorious FATHER, I humble myself before You and I receive the grace to reverence You in my thoughts, words, and actions. I keep Your statutes all of my days. Thank You, HOLY SPIRIT for revealing the secret things to me, and I prosper in whatever I do. In JESUS’ NAME.
Confession
I reverence the LORD always, for HIS WORD and SPIRIT is at work in my life!
