2 Corinthians 1:22 – New Living Translation (NLT)
22 and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first instalment that guarantees everything he has promised us.
Our Christian walk is simply having a continuous and close relationship with the LORD our GOD. When we were born again, we were translated into the kingdom of GOD as HIS own. To be truly born again is to change our inner selves, our old way of thinking, regret our past sins, live our lives in a way that proves repentance, and seek God’s purpose for our lives. Some people, including Christians, set goals or objectives. These goals or objectives could be a healthy lifestyle, walking in divine health & prosperity, being debt-free, financial independence, better relationships, better jobs, or careers and so on. However, calendars are just a physical means to measure milestones and our achievements. For born-again Christians, we live in seasons already prepared by our Heavenly FATHER.
As Christians, our priority in life should always be to seek first the Kingdom of our Heavenly FATHER and HIS righteousness. For in doing this shall all of our dreams come to pass. Our needs and wants are provided by our FATHER even beyond our asking or imagination (Ephesians 3:20). Let our main objectives be to fellowship closely with FATHER through HIS SPIRIT (the HOLY SPIRIT) more than we have ever done. Let our focus be to seek first GOD’s purpose for our lives. This is the true hallmark of a spiritually mature Christian. This can only be done through the constant and continued fellowship with the HOLY SPIRIT. For without the HOLY SPIRIT, a believer cannot achieve anything (John 15:5). Our Heavenly FATHER wants us to have our heart’s desire. However, HE is more interested in giving us HIS WORD & HIS SPIRIT through which we create our world in line with HIS will. THAT IS ALL YOU NEED to live a glorious, prosperous Christian life. Our FATHER’s principles are the same from everlasting to everlasting, and HE put HIS HOLY SPIRIT in us as a guarantee of this glorious promise.
GOD has already blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:3). However, the physical manifestation of these blessings in the life of a Christian requires obedience to the laws and principles of our heavenly FATHER. Physical obedience is to hearken diligently to the voice of the HOLY SPIRIT and submit fully to the ministry of the HOLY SPIRIT in our lives (Hebrews 11:6). Romans 8:14 says, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.” Let our daily goal be to fellowship with our Heavenly Father and to seek HIS presence daily through HIS SPIRIT. That is TRUE WORSHIP where everything we do is for HIS Glory. For our heavenly FATHER seeks the true worshippers.
The world events today clearly show the satanic agenda is very active as described in the bible in the latter days, and are clear signs that the second coming of our LORD Jesus Christ is very close. We have come into a season where the LORD is raising a new breed of believers filled with the anointing and power of the HOLY SPIRIT that shall go about doing good and healing those oppressed by satan. An outpouring of GOD’s power on those who put great emphasis on THE GREAT COMMISSION. We have come into a season where there shall be an outpouring of the power of the HOLY SPIRIT on those who have continued and constant fellowship with HIM for the expansion of the Kingdom of GOD. Fellowship with the HOLY SPIRIT causes us to always be planted in the presence of our GOD. Therein, the anointing of the oil of Joy rests on us, and we are ELEVATED above our companions – a manifestation of the blessing of favour beyond our asking or imagination.
