Isaiah 64:8 – New American Standard Bible (NASB)
8 But now, LORD, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter, And all of us are the work of Your hand.
The Bible in Psalms 8:4 says, “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?” Human beings are not some accident or fluke of nature. We are a deliberate, premeditated plan of the Almighty GOD – creator of the Heavens and earth. Humanity is so important to GOD because we are the works of HIS hand. And GOD’s desire is that humanity be the expression of HIS Divine nature in Christ Jesus. GOD has a plan for you. A plan that is designed to make you more than an image. A plan for you to be the expression of HIS love, power, and glory. We HIS children are all created for excellent works that show forth the amazing glory and virtue of Our Heavenly FATHER. The fall of humanity through the first man -Adam brought evil into the world. Our FATHER is the potter, and we are the clay. HE is ever shaping and moulding us according to HIS divine will. Ephesians 2:10 – For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.
Satan’s primary objective is to destroy the children of GOD by ensuring they do not fulfil this divine destiny GOD already prepared for them. Our salvation and fulfilling this divine destiny are important to our heavenly FATHER. Just as a potter moulds the clay to fit a specific purpose and adhere to the intended design, so too does our Heavenly Father allow certain situations in our lives to ensure that we achieve the perfection He envisioned for us before the foundation of the world. We may make mistakes that push us out of the path GOD intended for us. The Devil may try to derail us and throw challenges at us. Let us not fret or be dismayed because as the scripture says in Romans 8:28 – And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them – GOD is ever orchestrating the situations in our lives that causes us to be aligned with HIS will and purpose for lives.
GOD is a loving FATHER and has already prepared a victorious life for you. HIS desire is to see you successful in all aspects of life and most importantly that you have the nature of Christ Jesus. Jesus Christ was born, crucified, resurrected, and ascended and seated at the right hand of the FATHER for this purpose. Now you and I are seated together with Christ Jesus at the right hand of the FATHER in the heavenly realms – the SUPERNATURAL. A place of power and authority. We are but clay in the hand of our FATHER and HE is moulding us to conform to that perfect child HE created and designed even before the foundations of this world. Know that HIS mind is filled with loving and good thoughts for you. To give you an excellent future.
As a Christian, irrespective of the challenge you may be facing remember it’s all designed to guarantee your salvation and be everything our Heavenly FATHER has prepared you to be. Through faith and patience, you will be triumphant and give GOD thanks for HE is the expert strategist. Joseph went through challenges just to be the saviour of HIS people. Abraham, the apostles and so many others written in the Scriptures all went through diverse preparatory and training processes so that they can be all that GOD has designed them to be – fulfilling HIS divine purpose. If indeed you love GOD, rest, everything is working out for your good. You will come out victorious over every challenge and you will live a glorious Christian life that our Heavenly FATHER intended even before the foundations of this world.
