Galatians 2:20 – New King James Version (NKJV)
20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Today the world celebrates Easter. For us Christians we celebrate Resurrection Sunday. Some Christians see this celebration as GOD’s deliverance and redemption from the power of sin and death through the crucifixion of CHRIST JESUS. This is a truth. However, there is a greater truth, a greater revelation in the death and resurrection of CHRIST JESUS. A day when we celebrate the love and mercy of our Heavenly FATHER & GOD. This day we celebrate the restoration of humanity to a place of glory where divinity is at work in a man (2 Peter 1:2-4). A place where the power of GOD through the HOLY SPIRIT is at work in every Christian if they believe and put to work the laws and principles of the heavenly kingdom where they now dwell in CHRIST JESUS. The scriptures in Colossians 1:13 say, “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of HIS dear Son.”
Being a Christian or Christianity is not a religion. Being a Christian – one who has accepted the LORD Jesus Christ as their LORD and saviour – is the almighty GOD expressing HIS Glory in a human being. A human being is not a physical body. Our physical body is like a residential address. The real person is a spirit and has a soul. Due to sin resulting from the deceit of satan the devil, humans became spiritually dead. GOD in Christ Jesus has now reconciled us back to HIMSELF, which has been made possible by GOD in the person of Jesus Christ dying and resurrecting on the third day. That way, those who believe in HIM as LORD and saviour who were spiritually dead are now alive in Christ. For we were once dead and now have resurrected with Christ Jesus. Other religions can only make a person morally upright but cannot save a person from spiritual death. That is why JESUS CHRIST IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. THE ONLY WAY BACK TO THE TRUE LIVING GOD.
This Resurrection Sunday, we celebrate the resurrection power because Jesus Christ gave Himself for us. Isaiah 53:5 – But He was wounded for our transgressions, HE was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon HIM, And by HIS stripes we are healed. A Christian can now have the immeasurable and unlimited power of GOD at work in them: the SUPERNATURAL. This is the power that makes us live a super extraordinary life. A life free from the power of darkness. A life far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come (Ephesians 1:21). A supernatural power that makes us victorious and causes us to triumph over every negativity and the wiles of the devil.
Ephesians 1:19 –… what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe!
This power becomes active in our obedience to the LORD, fulfilling HIS will and purpose for our lives. All of this is made possible through the revelation knowledge (understanding & insight) of the word of GOD and our continuous fellowship with the HOLY SPIRIT. True Christians are not perturbed, for we know if GOD in Christ Jesus gave Himself for us, will HE not freely give us all things (Romans 8:37-39). We know we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. Our Heavenly FATHER has foretold and prepared us even for these dark times so that our light as HIS children (kings & priests unto HIM) shall continue to shine brighter and brighter, so the world may know that indeed HE reigns supreme, and HIS majesty shall flood the earth through us. Glory to GOD!

Prayer
Glorious FATHER, thank You for Your amazing love and the exceeding greatness of Your power at work in me through Christ Jesus, who gave HIMSELF for me when You raised HIM from death. Loving FATHER, thank You for CHRIST LIVES IN ME. I receive the Grace to live by faith in Christ Jesus. In JESUS NAME.
