HIS Presence!

Psalms 16:11 – New King James Version (NKJV)

¹¹ You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Dwelling in the presence of the Holy Spirit is a profound and transformative experience for Christians. The presence of GOD is not to be taken lightly irrespective of this dispensation of Grace brought by the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. We dwell in two realms the physical & the spiritual because we are now born of GOD. The kingdom of GOD which is the birth right of every believer ushers us permanently into the presence of GOD and this we experience through our fellowship (communion) with the HOLY SPIRIT (2 Corithians 13:14). In the presence of GOD, we find direction in life. When believers are constantly aware of and connected to the divine presence of GOD, it brings joy, strength, guidance and the anointing and power of HIS SPIRIT to work in them.

Deuteronomy 12:7 emphasizes the blessings and joy that come from living in the presence of the Lord: “There, in the presence of the LORD your God, you and your families shall eat and shall rejoice in everything you have put your hand to, because the LORD your God has blessed you”. Living in the presence of the HOLY SPIRIT involves practical aspects. One key aspect is drawing strength and joy from within, as seen in the example of David, who encouraged himself in the Word when he was going through a challenging time (1 Samuel 30:6). This means that Christians should regularly meditate on the Scriptures and seek to internalize God’s Word in their hearts. Secondly, through the scripture and praying in the Spirit we receive divine utterances, prophecies, direction on how to overcome a challenge and navigate the right path in life. In HIS presence we prove the acceptable, good, and perfect will of GOD (Romans 12:1-3) living a life that is pleasing to GOD.

In the presence of our Heavenly FATHER, we dwell at HIS right hand – where we operate from a place of power and authority (Luke 10:19). The Bible in Ephesians 2:4 – and raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. When Christ Jesus resurrected, we believers resurrected with HIM and as such translated into the kingdom of GOD far above principalities & powers, and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. The assures our victory in life for the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT is at work in us. When we believe and operate in this truth, our life becomes one of constant progress, good success, and triumph in Christ Jesus.

Dwelling in the presence of our FATHER through HIS SPIRIT is about maintaining a continuous and intimate relationship with HIM. It provides strength, and guidance, helping believers live according to GOD’s will. Through HIS presence, Christians can experience the right path of life, the fullness of joy and the blessings that come from being born of the living GOD in Christ Jesus.

Prayer

Heavenly FATHER, thank You for the gift of Your Son Jesus Christ who gave HIS life for me and Your SPIRIT that dwells in me. I receive the Grace to dwell in Your secret place: Your Presence always that makes me live the path of life You have prepared for me. A life of triumph. In JESUS NAME.

Confession

My path in life is always blissful for I dwell in the presence of my FATHER – the Almighty GOD!
