Strength in Grace
2 Timothy 2:1
New King James Version (NKJV)
1 You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
As a Christian, know that you have received the grace to be everything the LORD has planned for you to be. The scriptures in Ephesians 4:7 say, “But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.” When you received JESUS CHRIST as Lord and saviour, you received the Grace to not only fulfil GOD’s plan for your life but also the grace to live a glorious and victorious Christian life. This Grace that produces this glorious and victorious Christian life is multiplied through knowledge. 2 Peter 1:2 says, “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.” This knowledge, as discussed in the scriptures, is not mere science or head knowledge but rather revelation knowledge through fellowship with the WORD of GOD and HIS SPIRIT.
Some Christians respond with their senses, and this cripples or hinders the benefits and fruitfulness of the Grace they have received. The Grace of GOD gives us the ability to be fervent in Spirit and not slothful in zeal, and worship the LORD in Spirit & in truth. Each time a child of GOD responds with their senses, they frustrate the Grace they have received. This impact of GOD’s Grace multiplies when you spend quality time in HIS presence. You begin to experience the blessings of GOD’s Word in Psalms 91 – protection, provision, and preservation. When this happens, you will find the supernatural ability to serve in your local Church, carry out the great commission, understand the scriptures with your heart & be a doer of the word; to be fruitful; to be a blessing to nations, to be a crown of glory & a royal diadem in HIS hand and so on. A lot of times, some Christians allow the carnal nature to cripple their will to serve GOD in righteousness & with a pure heart. Some Christians put people’s opinion, the wisdom of the world or scientific knowledge, careers, relationships, all sorts of social affairs and pleasures before the things of GOD. Walking in this path reflects their disobedience, unbelief, a lack of integrity and unfaithfulness. These negative characters hinder the blessings that come with the grace of GOD. James 4:7 says, “But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisted the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” Being humble is to submit to GOD’s will & purpose.
Do not respond to situations based on your feelings, emotions, and the dictates of your body (senses). We have received the grace to live a successful and prosperous life. That will only come to pass by refusing to frustrate the grace you have received. Remember GOD, that began an excellent work in you will perfect and complete it until the day of JESUS CHRIST. It is a choice; find strength in the Grace of GOD at all times, serving the LORD. You will be amazed at how the LORD will multiply the impact of HIS Grace with the anointing in every area of your life that will cause you to achieve your ambitions and aspirations beyond your asking and imagination.
Scripture meditation:
2 Peter 1:2; 2 Peters 3:18; 1 Peter 5:5; Galatians 5:16, & Romans 12:11.
Prayer:
Heavenly FATHER, thank You for the Grace at work in me. FATHER, increase the revelation of Your Word in me that I may walk in the fullness of Your Grace. Thank you for this Grace that causes me to be a blessing to my generation. In JESUS NAME. Amen!
Confession:
I am strengthened in the fullness of HIS Grace!

Hold Firmly
Hebrews 4:14
New International Version (NIV)
14Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.
John 16:33 – These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Our Heavenly Father in Christ Jesus has given us a victorious life. As Children of GOD, there will be diverse trials and tribulations. However, we are sure of one outcome – VICTORY – when we employ the principles of GOD and hold firmly to our faith in Jesus Christ, for we have the great High Priest – Jesus Christ, who on the cross gave us the victory. On the cross, He said, “IT IS FINISHED”.
The Bible makes us understand that the world will be challenging, and increasingly so, as the day of the LORD draws near (the 2nd coming of our LORD). There is so much wickedness, and people have become lovers of themselves. The fear of GOD and love for humanity are non-existent for some (2 Timothy 3:1-5). Economic and social-political pressure is seen all over the globe, and Christians are not immune to these pressures. Though we are not of this world, we live in this world with our physical body. However, blessed be God who has given us all authority and power to overcome these pressures. For when Jesus Christ resurrected and ascended, so did we in the realm of the spirit. This means we have all that it takes to overcome any challenge as long as we remain steadfast in Christ, employing the laws and principles of our faith. For if we dwell in HIS presence always, we obtain the mercy and Grace (supernatural ability to overcome all challenges of life. Hebrews 4:16 (AMP) – Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favour] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].
Jesus Christ is our eternal High Priest; we can trust Him completely. His presence in heaven guarantees that our salvation is secure and that He continually represents us before the Father. Therefore, let us hold firmly to our faith, knowing that our heavenly FATHER will never leave nor forsake us. Let us not be distracted or compromise our faith due to the challenges or the pleasures of this world. For if we remain steadfast and hold firmly to our faith, in due course we shall triumph over any and every challenge we may go through. We shall experience the promised prosperous and successful life here on earth with eternal life. Praise GOD!
Scripture meditation:
1 Corinthians 10:13, 1 Peter 5:7, Ephesians 6:10, Jude 1:20, & Romans 8:35-39.
Prayer:
Heavenly FATHER, I thank you for the victorious life in Christ Jesus. I receive the Grace to hold firmly to my love and faith in You – never wavering for WORD and Your SPIRIT continues to uphold me always. In JESUS NAME. Amen!
Confession:
I hold firmly to my faith in Jesus Christ, for Greater is the SPIRIT of GOD in me than the enemy in the world!

The Place To Dwell
Psalms 91:1
New King James Version (NKJV)
1He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
The scriptures contain the manifold Wisdom of GOD. And when employed by a child of GOD, this Wisdom will enable them to experience the covenant blessings and promises of GOD all wrapped up in salvation. The secret place is one of the most important principles in the scripture. It is not a law, but the LORD is admonishing us to dwell in this place. It is a secret place, for it is not exposed to everyone but to GOD’s children. Not all GOD’s children know this secret place or take advantage of it. The secret place is a call to intimacy and fellowship with our Heavenly FATHER wherein we abide under HIS shadow – a place of protection, provision, preservation, and favour. DWELLING IN THE SECRET PLACE MAKES YOU CARRY THE DIVINE PRESENCE ALWAYS.
Many Christians mistakenly believe that Psalm 91 only serves as a prayer for protection. The psalm goes beyond prayers. It is a revelation of how to operate in the blessings of protection, preservation, and provision when we dwell in the secret place of the Most High (El Elyon). The theme verse, which is the first verse, admonishes us on what to do: to dwell in the shelter (secret place) of our Heavenly FATHER. The blessings of divine protection, provision, and preservation from verse two of this chapter to the end are yours when you dwell in the secret place. We should not be Christians who do not dwell in the presence of our Heavenly FATHER or choose to go in and out as it suits our fancy.
The life of Jesus Christ is an example of what it means to dwell in the secret place of the Most HIGH God. Jesus Christ was so successful and prosperous in HIS life on earth. HE walked in the anointing and power of GOD (Acts 10:38). The scriptures in Mark 1:35 say, “Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.” The whole chapter of Mark gave us an insight into the daily schedule of our LORD Jesus Christ. We can see that our Lord Jesus Christ succeeded and prospered in all that HE did, because HE dwelt in the secret place of the most HIGH GOD through fellowship with the WORD of GOD & Prayer. Jesus took authority over HIS day for HE carried the divine presence. Similarly, when GOD gave Job an insight and revelation into taking authority over HIS days (Job 38), which can only be found in the presence of GOD, he humbled himself, and there was a turnaround in his life.
To not dwell in the secret place is to display arrogance that our life is ours to manage as we please. Let us strive to dwell in the secret place of our FATHER. This secret place is the throne room of Grace, where we obtain MERCY and GRACE (supernatural ability) in times of need. This secret place enables us to function fully in GOD’s will and purpose for us, and, importantly, to overcome all things that threaten our divine destiny and the manifestation of GOD’s blessings in our lives.
Scripture meditation:
Jude 1:20, Hebrews 4:16, Isaiah 50:4, Psalm 119:147; & Luke 6:12.
Prayer:
Heavenly FATHER, I thank you for putting your Spirit in me as a guarantee of your promise. I receive the grace to dwell in Your secret place always, that shall make me operate in the power and anointing of Your SPIRIT, making me to prosper and have good success. In JESUS’ NAME. Amen!
Confession:
I dwell in the secret place of the Most-High, and I abide under the shadow of the Almighty GOD all the days of my life!

Food For Maturity
Hebrews 5:12-14
New King James Version (NKJV)
12For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the [b]oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. 13For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14But solid food belongs to those who are [c]of full age, that is, those who by reason of [d]use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Every society strives for growth. It is a natural law as much as it is a spiritual law. GOD’s desire is for HIS children to grow to spiritual maturity so that they are not tossed back and forth by their ignorance of the schemes of satan and his cohorts of darkness. There are two types of Born-again Christians: the baby Christian and the spiritually mature Christian (1 Corinthians 3:1-3). The baby Christian must be fed with milk all the time, even if they have been Christians for years. They lack spiritual wisdom, knowledge and understanding. But the mature Christian, irrespective of how long they have been born again, are filled with spiritual wisdom, understanding and knowledge. Their lives are an example for others to follow. You can easily recognise Christ in the way they speak, conduct themselves, act, and live. The glory of GOD is so evident in their lives. They blossom in all that they do (Psalms 1).
The reason for church gatherings and the way Christ structured the church (Ephesians 4:11-12) shows us the importance GOD places on spiritual growth. Ephesians 4:13 says, “until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” God desires that we come to full knowledge of Christ, the WORD of GOD. That is why GOD through the HOLY SPIRIT commends us to the grace of HIS word, which is able to build us up and thereby receive the full promised inheritance (Acts 20:32). This promised inheritance is received through full knowledge of GOD’s word. This is the realm of glory where we experience perfect peace, favour, and we see the full manifestation of GOD’s glory in our lives. The mature Christian experiences divine prosperity, divine health, progress & success. A life of the supernatural. A place where his life is not determined by the economy or the circumstances of man and the world. When we desire the solid food of GOD’s word, we have full control of our lives, and we walk in GOD’s plan: the divine destiny. A place of bliss is where the mature Christian operates. Through the solid food of GOD’s word, a Christian matures spiritually, and every spiritual blessing appropriated to him/ her is manifested in the physical.
The theme scripture says “…. And when a person is still living on milk it shows he isn’t very far along in the Christian life and doesn’t know much about the difference between right and wrong.” When Christians lack solid food, they make mistakes; their lives are impacted by everything that goes on in their environment, be it economic, political, or social turmoil. On the other hand, spiritually mature Christians (who depend on solid food) know who they are in Christ Jesus. The solid food of GOD’s word causes us to be filled with spiritual insight through revelation knowledge (Matthew 22:29). The word of GOD does not depart from their mouth. They meditate on the Word of God, day and night. Desire the solid food and your life will be a life of bliss: A shining light and men shall call you the blessed & favoured of the LORD.
Scripture meditation:
1 Corinthians 14:20; Ephesians 4:11-14; 2 Peter 3:19-18; & Colossians 1:9-10.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I give you praise and thanks for the Grace of your Word that causes me to grow to spiritual maturity. Father, make me desire the solid food of Your WORD that shall cause me to increase in every spiritual knowledge and walk in every spiritual wisdom. In Jesus name.
Confession:
I am increasing in spiritual maturity, for the solid food of GOD’s word is at work in me.

Enter HIS Rest!
Hebrews 4:10
Amplified Bible (AMP)
10 For the one who has once entered His rest has also rested from [the weariness and pain of] his [human] labours, just as God rested from [those labours uniquely] His own.
Blessed be GOD that has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms and has given us all that pertains to life and godliness in Christ Jesus. In Christ Jesus, all believers have been ushered into rest free from the worries of this world and the struggle associated with it. CHRIST JESUS in Matthew 11:28 says “Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” What a glorious life we have in CHRIST. On the cross, CHRIST said it is finished because HE took our pain, our struggles and gave us the gift of eternal life and a glorious life on earth all wrapped up in salvation. Why then do some Christians face challenging situations that drown them in the sea of life? Why do some prosper and have good success and others do not?
We are in the dispensation of Grace. However, there are Christians that misunderstand this concept of Grace. As a child of GOD, you have received the saving Grace of GOD when you accepted Jesus Christ as your saviour and LORD over your life. Every one of us have also been given manifold Grace to accomplish our purpose on earth, to prosper and to have good success. 1 Peter 4:10 – As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. This manifold Grace from GOD is activated and multiplied through the WORD of GOD (2 Peter 1:2-4). The word of GOD is spirit and life. We are spirit beings and therefore receive things from GOD through our spirit man by HIS word (HIS word in our spirit). The gathering of the saints, the study, and the meditation of the word of GOD is how we receive and remain in HIS rest.
Entering the rest of GOD requires consistent study, meditation, and fellowship with the WORD of GOD and HIS SPIRIT that is able make their Christian journey fruitful and productive. In the scriptures we receive prophecies, promises and wisdom of GOD. Let us therefore approach the throne of Grace and obtain mercy and Grace – the supernatural ability – the anointing that causes us to prosper and have good success. This gets activated through the study, meditation and rightly handling the WORD of GOD. Praise GOD!
Scripture meditation:
2 Peter 1:1-10, Isaiah 28:12; Hosea 4:6; Hebrews 4:16 & Romans 10:2.
Prayer:
Glorious FATHER, thank You for ushering me into the kingdom of your dear son JESUS CHRIST: a place of rest. I walk in this consciousness. I receive your word into my spirit that gives me rest and victory from the negativity of this world. In JESUS NAME.
Confession:
I do not struggle for I have entered rest in Christ Jesus!

Crucify The Flesh
Galatians 5:24
New International Version (NIV)
24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
GOD gave us HIS SPIRIT and HIS WORD that gives us the Grace and ability to live a godly life that pleases HIM. We have been given the Grace (ability) to conquer unrighteous cravings of the human nature. Romans 6:12-14 says, “Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.” The world is challenging, and it will get more challenging. The world system threatens the Christian way of life. We are more exposed to negativity and its temptation more than ever. What is bad is now accepted as good, and what is good is now called evil.
Now that we have been given a new life in Christ Jesus, let us, through meditation of the scriptures, prayer and fellowship with one another in the Body of Christ, crucify the sinful human nature with its passions and desires. It is impossible to do it with our own strength. It takes the Grace of GOD through HIS SPIRIT and HIS WORD. To be successful in this new life, we must consistently and fervently engage ourselves in prayer and meditation on the scriptures. The WORD of GOD is what strengthens our spirit man and, in turn, our will to do what is right and shun what is evil. The world controlled by the devil will always present challenging situations that will threaten this new life in Christ. However, greater is HE in us that he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let us be disciplined to follow the ways of the LORD, which is true repentance. Mark 1:14 -.and saying, “The [appointed period of] time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life] and believe [with a deep, abiding trust] in the good news [regarding salvation].”
If a Christian continues in unrighteous acts, the power of GOD will cease to function in them, and they become exposed to attacks of satan and his cohorts of darkness. When that happens, a child of GOD will start to experience challenges in their health, finances, relationships and so on. The system of the world will trample on them (Matthew 5:13). Let us put aside the cravings of our human nature that do not glorify GOD. GOD wants you to be like HIM. That is the whole point of being a Christian: to operate in the DIVINE NATURE. Let us therefore honour the LORD with all that is us – our body, soul and spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Then we shall begin to see the manifestation of HIS divine power at work in us. Let us be deeply rooted in the love of Christ that surpasses all knowledge so that we can be filled with all the fullness of GOD that is able to build us and bring to manifestation our glorious inheritance in Christ.
Scripture meditation:
Galatians 5:16-24, 2:20, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, 1 Timothy 4, Romans 6:6 & Romans 8.1.
Prayer:
Glorious FATHER, thank You for the new life in Christ Jesus. FATHER, let your grace to live a holy life multiply in me and let my body continue to be a living temple for You to dwell always. In JESUS NAME.
Confession:
I am a new creation in Christ Jesus; I am dead to the sinful nature of the flesh!

Take Captive Every Thought!
2 Corinthians 10:5
New International Version (NIV)
5We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
An individual’s life circumstances are shaped by their thought patterns and the issues they consistently focus on be it positive or negative. It is naïve to think the challenges we face as Christians in this world are physical. They are not. The challenges we experience as Christians are manifestations of spiritual battles (2 Corinthians 10:4). The battle starts in the mind where our thoughts are housed. It is up to you to determine what stays in your house. TAKE CAPTIVE OF YOUR THOUGHTS. What you consistently meditate on or think of will in turn become strongholds that work against you or stepping stones that will lunch you into GOD’s plan and promise for your life.
As Christians we have to be intentional with our thoughts. It is up to you take captive of your thoughts. It’s up to you to demolish thoughts that are inconsistent with the word of GOD. In the first place how can you demolish thoughts inconsistent with GOD’s word when you do not know the word of GOD. How would you know the word of GOD if you don’t have a relationship with HIM. As Christians it’s important to see yourself as GOD sees you. Through your relationship with the LORD, your thoughts and imaginations are shaped by HIM which in turn creates the destiny HE already prepared for you. Make every effort to filter the thoughts that do not align with the WORD of GOD. Therein lies prosperity and good success.
Joshua 1:8 says “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” This scripture admonishes us to be intentional with our thoughts and imaginations. Anything that is inconsistent with what our heavenly FATHER has said should be thrown out of your mind. The meditations or continuous thoughts of a man impacts his words and actions. This in turn affects his lifestyle and destiny. The Bible in Proverbs 4:23 says “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.” Our thoughts shape our lives. A positive attitude to life starts from the heart and it produces a positively rich life.
The world is currently challenging both for Christians and non-Christians. However, we have the advantage because although we are in this world we are not of this world (John 17: 14 & 16). All power and authority has been given unto us overcome every negativity or challenging situation in our lives and sphere of influence. Christians must refuse to be overwhelmed by whatever challenges we may face, that is why the HOLYSPIRIT in the theme scripture admonishes and encourages us to be proactive with our thoughts and imaginations of our heart. Focus on what GOD is saying and not what the challenge says.
Learn to control your thoughts with the WORD of GOD. Let your focus be on the ways and mind of GOD through fellowship with the scriptures (truth) and HIS SPIRIT (in prayer). Be a true worshipper: worshipping in spirit and truth (John 4:23-24). Even when challenges feel overwhelming, discipline your thoughts and imaginations on the desired positive outcome, praying in the Spirit with gratitude, speaking the WORD of GOD and you will definitely come out victorious.
Scripture meditation:
Philippians 4:6-9; 1 Peter 5:7; Proverbs 4:23; Romans 8:28 & Isaiah 26:3.
Prayer:
Glorious FATHER, You are my refuge and my strong tower, my ever-present help in time of need. I receive the grace of Your Word and SPIRIT to take captive of my thoughts that would shape the course of my life to align with Your will and purpose of my life. In Jesus name.
Confession:
I take authority over my thoughts & imaginations for the Grace of GOD is at work in me!
