Kingdom of Christ
Colossians 1:13-14
New King James Version (NKJV)
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
The day you believed in the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus and made the confession with the word of your mouth, you became born again. A new creation. According to the main verse, we have been transferred into the Kingdom of light (referred to as the kingdom of Christ Jesus). This means we have already been delivered completely from every form of darkness be it failure, fear, anxiety, financial difficulties, infirmities, or any sort of satanic oppression.
Before you were born again, you had a way of thinking, a set of ideas and a philosophy about life and the way it should be. Your environment, experience, culture, and family upbringing have shaped the course of your life. Being a new creation, GOD has ushered you into a new life and has put HIS Spirit in you as a guarantee of a glorious life filled with goodness. A life of the spirit where your spirit man controls the mind and the body, and not vice versa. This new life has a manual for success, and that is HIS WORD. John 15:3 “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you….” One thing is to receive Christ, another thing is to be in Christ (to dwell in the word of GOD). Colossians 2:6 & 7 (AMP) says “Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in [union with] Him [reflecting His character in the things you do and say—living lives that lead others away from sin], 7 having been deeply rooted [in Him] and now being continually built up in Him and [becoming increasingly more] established [e]in your faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing in it with gratitude”. Abiding in the WORD of GOD found in the scriptures and continued fellowship with HIS SPIRIT makes us to be the expression of GOD’s love, Glory, & Power.
Deliverance is for the unbeliever: those in darkness. FOR YOU HAVE ASCENDED WITH CHRIST JESUS. This gives us all authority and power to reign as children of the MOST HIGH GOD. Firstly, we must recognise we are now partakers of the divine nature of Christ Jesus (2 Peter 1:4), and every legal demand or accusing finger of satan and his cohorts of darkness has been blotted away by the precious blood of Jesus Christ (Colossians 2:13-15). We are now seated together with Christ in the heavenly realms, establishing the power and the authority of our heavenly FATHER that makes us to experience a triumphant Christian life & ensures our victory always in Christ Jesus.
Scripture meditation:
John 15:18-21; 2 Corinthians 2:15-16; 1 Corinthians 15:58; & Proverbs 29:27.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for sending me out into the world with the good news of Your saving power and eternal life for humanity in Your son Christ Jesus. I receive the grace and strength to be faithful and remain steadfast even amid trials, in JESUS’ NAME!
Confession:
I refuse to be discouraged. I remain steadfast, for I am more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus!

Steadfast Under Trial
James 1:12
Amplified Bible (AMP)
12Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test and been approved, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him
The world today poses diverse challenges. Some Christians have found their faith and trust in GOD diminished because of these challenges and difficulties they face. Wickedness and negativity are on the increase. Christians all over the world are facing diverse trials and tribulations. Blessed be GOD, to our Heavenly Father who has given us victory in Christ Jesus. John 16:33 – These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you [f]will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” The most important thing to GOD is the salvation of humanity. GOD relies on us to spread the good news of salvation (His love) in Christ Jesus. This is our primary purpose on earth to ensure that those who are yet to be saved receive salvation through us.
Our Lord Jesus Christ in Mark 10:29-30 says “……“I assure you and most solemnly say to you, there is no one who has given up a house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or farms, for My sake and for the gospel’s sake, 30who will not receive a hundred times as much now in the present age—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms—along with persecutions; and in the age to come, eternal life.” GOD did not promise a life free of challenges. However, HE promised we will always be victorious. IT IS ONLY A TEST OF OUR FAITH. Let us therefore remain steadfast under trials and tribulation, knowing our FATHER has made a way of escape. Interestingly, the theme verse describes a Christian experiencing trials as blessed. As a Christian, GOD permits challenges in our way to build our faith, our trust, and love for HIM and others. Trials bring out spiritual gifts and cause us to align with our GOD-given destiny. Consistent worship reveals the Lord’s power and assures victory.
Sometimes it can be overwhelming. However, we must remain strong and faithful to our LORD and every responsibility given to us. For our FATHER is ever faithful and HE is not unjust to forget the labour of our love (Hebrews 6:12). We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. Revelation 2:26 says, “And to the one who is victorious and continues in My work until the end, I will give authority over the nations.” If we remain steadfast to the end, we shall be victorious here on earth and receive the eternal crown of life. Glory to GOD!

Abide In The WORD
John 1:1-4
New King James Version (NKJV)
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, ………. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
Many view Christ Jesus as the one who sacrificed himself for their sins. According to scripture, Christ Jesus is described as the infallible Word of God and the essence of life, through whom all things were created. We are born of this living and everlasting word of GOD. And through the HOLYSPIRIT, when we study, meditate and digest the WORD, our fellowship is with the Father & HIS Son Jesus Christ, which makes our joy to be full. You cannot separate a man from his word; a man’s word tells a lot about who he is, and the scriptures describe this in Proverbs 4:23-24: “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. 24 Put away from you a deceitful mouth and put perverse lips far from you. GOD and HIS word are one, and that is why CHRIST Jesus tells us HE and the FATHER are one and that everything HE says is from the FATHER.
Christ Jesus in John 6:63 says “…………The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life”. As we study, meditate and digest the word, we become deeply rooted in Christ Jesus, and we abide in Him, for without Christ we can do nothing. Just as the body responds to food, so also GOD has programmed our spirit to respond to His word. Information affects our thoughts, which in turn is deposited in our spirits. Therefore, anything inconsistent with GOD’s word should be dismissed immediately. It’s very important to feed our Spirit with the right information, which is the knowledge of GOD’s word. We feed our spirit with the word of GOD to be perfect and equipped for every good work which GOD has planned for us, even before the foundations of the earth. Through GOD’s word, we are built up, and we receive every inheritance that the LORD has promised.
GOD gave us a principle for success in Joshua 1:8 (NIV) “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful” and Psalms 1:1-3 “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, …. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and His law, he meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper”.
Be sure always to keep the word of GOD in your heart and let the words from your mouth (your confessions) be in line and agreement with HIS word. John 15:7 says, “But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! Then you will start to experience GOD’s power at work in you. For with the word in our spirit and our lips we frame the course of our lives (Hebrews 11:3). I assure you, you will attain the zenith of success, complete with prosperity and all the good things of life. Praise GOD!
Scripture meditation:
2 Peter 1:3; Acts 20:28; John 10:30, 12:49; Proverbs 11:9; & Hosea 4:6.
Prayer:
FATHER, I thank You for Your WORD that gave birth to me. I receive the grace to abide in Your WORD always, that shall cause Your Power and Glory to be revealed in my life. In JESUS’ NAME. Amen!
Confession:
The power of GOD’s WORD is at work in me!

Filled With The Holy Spirit
Ephesians 5:18
Amplified Bible (AMP)
18Do not get drunk with wine, for that is wickedness (corruption, stupidity), but be filled with the [Holy] Spirit and constantly guided by Him.
To be filled with the Spirit is to have the supernatural ability of GOD at work in a Christian. Our spirit man, just like mobile phones, needs to be constantly filled up with the HOLY SPIRIT. To be filled up is to be energised, equipped with supernatural ability, the power and authority to fulfil GOD’s plan for our lives. If we are not filled with the SPIRIT, it becomes a huge challenge, or if not outright impossible, to be led by GOD (Romans 8:14). Secondly, it becomes impossible to take steps of faith to achieve and live that glorious life promised by GOD. Being filled with the SPIRIT causes us to experience the supernatural, where we reign on this earth as kings and priests unto GOD. Being filled with the Spirit gives us the ability to invite the Host of heaven into situations that concern us on earth. When we receive a word from the HOLY SPIRIT concerning our ministry, career, business, health, finances and so on, it is our being filled with the Spirit that gives us the energy, will, & motivation both spiritual and physical to bring it to fruition.
Being filled up with the SPIRIT of GOD helps you to fulfil that plan of GOD, even when faced with obstacles. Just like David strengthened himself in the LORD (1 Samuel 30:6), we strengthen ourselves in the WORD of GOD and HIS SPIRIT. Christ Jesus says For without me you can do nothing (John 15:5). As Christians, we are the branch connected to CHRIST JESUS, the word of GOD, the vine. We cannot be fruitful if we are not constantly and continually connected to the vine. When Christians are not connected to the vine, they are exposed to challenges that overwhelm them. Attending church services, being in the gathering of fellow believers, especially in the house of GOD, is a means with which the SPIRIT of GOD fills us up.
Remember the devil is a roaring lion looking for whom to devour (1 Peter 5:8). Lions do not attack a pack of animals; they lie in wait and cause distractions for one of them to separate and then pounce on it. Christians disconnected from the branch might look green for a little while, but unknown to them, they are gradually withering away. The scriptures tell us Christ Jesus always goes to a quiet place where HE has fellowship with the FATHER (Matthew 14:23; Mark 1:35). What do you think HE was doing? Of course, HE was recharging himself. Jude 1:20 (AMP) says, “But you, beloved, build yourselves up on [the foundation of] your most holy faith [continually progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], pray in the Holy Spirit,”
Verses 16 & 17 of the theme chapter encourage us to be wise and not waste time in foolishness such as drunkenness, or in modern times, idle chatting & gossiping, social media, ungodly gatherings, entertainment that does not edify or build up our spirit. Let us redeem the times by engaging in spiritual exercises that will cause our spirit to be constantly filled with the power of the HOLY SPIRIT. (1 Timothy 4:8 – For physical training is of some value, but godliness (spiritual training) is of value in everything and in every way since it holds promise for the present life and for the life to come.) Let us therefore constantly meditate on the WORD of GOD and pray in the spirit always that shall make us to be infilled with the SPIRIT of GOD (Jude 1:20), and in turn cause us to make the very most of our time on earth, achieving GOD’s purpose for our lives, recognizing and taking advantage of GOD given opportunities and HIS Grace (supernatural ability) especially in these wicked times. Praise GOD!
Scripture meditation:
Proverbs 4:22; Jude 1:20; Acts 20:32; & Ephesians 5:16-20.
Prayer:
Glorious Father, thank you for the gift of Your SPIRIT that constantly rejuvenates and revives my outer and inner man. FATHER, cause me to be filled with Your Spirit always that shall cause me to walk in every spiritual wisdom bearing fruits worthy of Your kingdom, in JESUS’ NAME.
Confession:
I am a success because the SPIRIT of GOD dwells in me!
