REVELATION FOR TODAY

RFT – WEEK 4 – Rule Your Day!

REVELATIONS FOR TODAY by Pastor Michael Obata Rule Your Day! JANUARY 19, 2025 Job 38:12 King James Version (NKJV) 12“Have you commanded the morning since your days began, and caused the dawn to know its place, The scriptures in Matthew 16:19 (NLT) says “And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid[a] on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit[b] on earth will be permitted in heaven.” This is the power and authority that we have in Christ Jesus. When you are born again; you have become a joint heir with Christ Jesus seated together with Christ Jesus at the right hand of GOD – a place of power and authority (Ephesians 2:4-7). This is the right we have in Christ Jesus and being children of the most High GOD. This power is at work only in the mature children of GOD that have come to walk in love and the revelation knowledge of the word of GOD. These are Christians who are not hearers alone but are actually doers of the word of GOD. To command your day is to speak with authority and power over your world and what you want to see manifest irrespective of the current circumstance. That is prophesying your way into that glorious life promised by GOD. Joel 2:28 says ““And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, ……….” This promise of GOD has been fulfilled in Christ Jesus (John 16:7; Revelations 5:10). We are now kings and priests unto GOD where we walk in the power of GOD, making decrees and charting the course of our lives in line with the predestined plan of GOD. Verse 13 of the theme chapter (Job 38:13) says “That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, and the wicked be shaken out of it?” GOD is letting us in on an important principle. Through the power of prophecy, we take authority over our day, week, month and the years to come, triumphant over every challenge. Through prophecy, we establish the promise of GOD’s word in our lives. Some Christians do not experience this level of fulfilment and success in their walk with the Lord. Firstly, as a Christian, you have been translated into the kingdom light. Unlike the Old Testament, we no longer rely on God to resolve our challenges by calling upon him for help. Every help we will ever need, every blessing, every power, every authority was lavished on us in the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus. Secondly, we have been given the word of God; the Spirit of GOD in us (2 Corinthians 1:22); and the name of Christ Jesus as tools for our warfare. We now prophesy and pray from the position of victors, kings and priests unto God and no longer pray like beggars and weaklings. As we dwell in the word and fellowship with the HOLY SPIRIT, the power of GOD starts to manifest and whatever we permit on earth is permitted in heaven and whatsoever we forbid is forbidden in heaven. Do not complain like Job did; command your day and see the glory of GOD manifest in your life. Scripture meditation:Acts 2:14-21; Luke 10:19; 1 John 4:4 & Ephesians 3:20. Prayer:Glorious Father, thank You for the sacrifice of Your Son Jesus Christ that has given me eternal life, power & authority to command my day; and live a victorious life. Father fill me with the anointing of Your SPIRIT and the revelation of your word to the glory of your name. In JESUS NAME. Confession:I rule over my day, for the greater One lives in me!

RFT – WEEK 3 – Your Heart

REVELATIONS FOR TODAY by Pastor Michael Obata Your Heart JANUARY 12, 2025 Proverbs 4:23 New Living Translation (NLT) 23Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. People are more than physical beings. The Bible teaches us more about the nature of humanity. The Bible tells us that we are spirit, soul, and body. Genesis 1:26-27 speaks of the creation of the spirit of man. Genesis 2:7 states, “And the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” This verse highlights how God created the physical body from the dust of the ground and the soul by breathing life into man’s nostrils. Humans can be categorised as having an inner man (spirit and soul) and an outer man (physical body) as referenced in 2 Corinthians 4:16. As Christians, we must understand our nature and how God designed us to operate in these three forms. The scriptures reveal that the spiritual realm controls the physical realm. God is spirit and relates to us through our spirit. Our physical body serves as a means to interact with the physical world. Blessed be God, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm (Ephesians 1:3). In Christ Jesus, we are not only created in God’s image but born of the Spirit of God and, therefore, sons of God (John 1:12 and 1 Corinthians 6:17). Our true self is our spirit. As Christians, we are now one with the Spirit of God. Our soul, which contains the mind, acts as the gateway to our spirit and a medium through which our spirit interacts with the physical world. The mind is a means to absorb, utilise, and express the blessings and glory that our Heavenly Father has given us in Christ Jesus here on earth. Why then do some Christians not experience these blessings in the physical world? Why do some Christians still struggle and face overwhelming challenges? The scriptures explain that it is due to a lack of knowledge of the Word of God (Hosea 4:6), which provides the information needed to transform their mindset. Romans 12:2 urges us not to conform to this world but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds so that we may discern God’s will for our lives. God’s will for you is to have a prosperous and righteous life filled with good success (Jeremiah 29:11). The theme verse emphasizes guarding our spirit by filtering the information we allow into it. As spiritual beings, what we deposit in our spirit manifests in our physical life. Positive information from our minds deposited in our spirit will produce positive outcomes in our world, and vice versa. The heart mentioned in the theme scripture refers to the spirit of a person. Previous verses highlight the importance of the Word of God, which is the truth we must believe and meditate on. Verses 21 and 22 explain that the Word of God should be our focus and meditation, for therein lies grace and peace multiplied in our lives (2 Peter 1:4). The heart in verse 22 refers to the mind (soul). It is also essential to mention that the words we speak reflect what is deposited in our spirit through our minds. The mouth and the mind are gifts from God to direct the course of our lives according to His will and purpose. Physical obedience to God’s instructions brings the manifestation of spiritual blessings. Praise God! Scripture meditation:Psalms 1; Acts 20:32; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Corinthians 10:4-6; Joshua 1:8 & Philippians 4:6-8. Prayer:Glorious Father, thank You for begetting me in Christ Jesus. Father, make my spirit, soul, and body respond only to Your Word and Spirit. I receive the grace to prove Your good, acceptable, and perfect will always. In Jesus’ name. Amen. Confession:The Word of God is my guard, and I shall prosper and have good success!

RFT – WEEK 2 – The BODY United

REVELATIONS FOR TODAY by Pastor Michael Obata The BODY United 5th January 2024 1 CORINTHIANS 12:7 New Living Translation (NLT) 7A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. There is nothing like when the Body of Christ is united in the faith, and love. Genesis 11:6 says “… “The people are united, and they all speak the same language. After this, nothing they set out to do will be impossible for them!” The scripture in Ephesians 1:15 – 23 teaches us of the great power available to us when we are united. There the blessings and power of the LORD are made manifest. Nothing shall be impossible for us Christians when we are united. The scriptures in Psalms 133 says “Behold how good and how pleasant it isFor brethren to dwell together in unity! ……. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing— Life forevermore. The blessings of the LORD rest on a family and even a church family where there is unity of mind and love, the church then experiences the overflow of GOD’s blessings. Christ Jesus in Matthew 18:18-20 says “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 19Again, I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. 20For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them.”  There is tremendous power available to us the heirs of salvation (saints) when we are united together in prayer. Nothing shall be impossible to us. All power and authority have been given to us to make changes in line with GOD’s will for us. Christians or members of a family in the Body of Christ should not wait for individual, local, regional or global catastrophe before we unite in prayer or use spiritual gifts (Ephesians 4:11-13, 1 Corinthians 12 & 14). The HOLY SPIRIT is not given to the Church for fancy. The church of GOD is designed for the uplift, progress and overall well-being of one another, the church family, and the Body of Christ in general. Daniel 7:25 – He will speak words against the Most High [God] and wear down the saints of the Most High, and he will intend to change the times and the law; and they will be given into his hand for a time, [two] times, and half a time [three and one-half years]. We are living in challenging times. We can see unfolding before us the schemes of satan and his minions causing destruction, wearing out the saints and ushering policies and laws that contradict the laws of GOD. Not until the church (the BODY OF CHRIST) is taking away – Rapture (2 Thessalonians 2:6-7) we have all power and authority to push back and overcome anything that threatens our faith and way of life. There is still much work to be done especially now that the harvest is plenty and the coming of Christ is very close. We must unite in prayer and have one mind and the same goal. Let us be selfless, have the GOD-kind of love (unconditional love) for one another, seeking the best for each other. John 13:34 – A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” Scripture meditation:1 Corinthians 1:10, Luke 10:19, Acts 2:17, James 5:16-18, & Matthew 26:41. Prayer:Gracious FATHER, grant all the saints all over the world the grace and the strength to always dwell together in unity. Let us be of one mind and the same judgement through the knowledge of Your WORD always. In JESUS’ NAME. Confession:I belong to the Body of Christ and the power of GOD is at work in me!

RFT – Week 01 – HIS Power

REVELATIONS FOR TODAY by Pastor Michael Obata HIS POWER DECEMBER 29, 2024 Ephesians 3:20 Amplified Bible (AMP) 20But the one who is united and joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, As Christians we are begotten of GOD (Christ Jesus is the first of the begotten) for GOD has begotten us through Christ Jesus our Saviour. The LORD communicates with us through our spirit, and he opens the eyes of our spirit to see as HE sees. Through our faith and obedience to the WORD of GOD and the leading of HIS SPIRIT, HIS power becomes active in our lives. We then start to experience the supernatural (something that we cannot achieve with our effort or ability). The scripture in Acts 1:8 says, “But you will receive power and ability when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be My witnesses [to tell people about Me] both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth.” The power of GOD in us works through the HOLYSPIRIT. This makes personal fellowship or communion with the HOLYSPIRIT very important in the life of a Christian. The power of GOD in us through the HOLYSPIRIT enables us to be like Jesus Christ. That is the whole point of being a Christian. The power enables us to carry out the great commission as HE directed us to do, to do great exploits on the earth that will bring Glory to our Heavenly FATHER. This power makes us achieve that which ordinarily would be impossible. The power of GOD in us is what makes a Christian achieve their divine purpose. That is to be transformed and renewed to achieve GOD’s good, acceptable, and perfect will (Romans 12:1-2). Just as the scripture tells us in Joshua 1:8: our good success and prosperity is assured when we meditate on the WORD of GOD in our hearts and HIS WORD is on our lips. Through prayer and meditation on the word of GOD, the SPIRIT of the LORD opens the eyes of our spirit to see those things which have been freely given to us.  For the power of GOD to be at work in us as Christians we must have that relationship with the FATHER through knowledge and obedience of HIS WORD. It’s not enough to accept Jesus Christ as Saviour; we need to have HIM as LORD over our lives. The righteousness of GOD and HIS kingdom must be first place in our lives. Secondly, the sweet fellowship with HIS SPIRIT (the trustee of our blessing) must be continuous. We must continually dwell in the presence of GOD where we are constantly on the throne of Grace and where we receive supernatural favour and supernatural ability to achieve that which seems impossible. This doesn’t mean we will not have to face challenges and persecutions of different kinds. However, the POWER of GOD at work in us shall sustain us and cause us to triumph always. What is your heart’s desire today? Be it financial independence, divine health, success, career progression, business growth, academic excellence, successful relationships and so on. Desire this Glorious POWER of GOD to be at work in you and you will begin to see the manifestation of your heart’s desire. For the LORD will do exceedingly, abundantly beyond your expectations or imaginations. Praise GOD! Scripture meditation:Joshua 1:8, Psalms 1:1-3; 1 Corinthians 2:9-16; & 2 Corinthians 4:17-18. Prayer:Heavenly FATHER, thank You for Your POWER at work in me. FATHER cause the exceeding greatness of Your POWER and the Anointing of Your SPIRIT to work in me mightily that shall bring Glory & honour to You always. In JESUS NAME. Amen! Confession:The POWER of GOD is at work in me for the SPIRIT of GOD dwells in me!
